Team Van Oord has been named one of the top 100 civil engineering companies ahead of the 2019 NCE100 Awards, which take place in April.
The NCE100 is New Civil Engineer’s annual awards scheme which celebrates the most innovative, impactful and inspirational firms operating in civil engineering.
The NCE100 Power List – which also includes Team Van Oord partners Kier and Royal HaskoningDHV – recognises the most forward-thinking, innovative firms ‘that are doing the right things, in the right way, to deliver the outcomes that benefit society’.
The top 10 will be revealed at the NCE100 awards ceremony, which takes place at The Brewery in London on Wednesday 30 April.
As well as being named on the Power List, Team Van Oord has been shortlisted in the ‘Construction Innovator’ category.
There are also two nominations for the Kier Group (‘Construction Innovator’ and ‘Leader in Collaboration’) – while Royal HaskoningDHV is the running for three awards (‘Innovation in Project Initiation’, ‘Impact in Climate Resilience’ and ‘Impact in Water’).
Jurjan Blokland, Chairman of Team Van Oord, said:
“We pride ourselves on being a forward-thinking and innovative company and as such are delighted be included on the NCE100 Power List.
“We also congratulate our partners, Kier and Royal HaskoningDHV, who also feature on the list – and are looking forward to the NCE awards ceremony at the end of next month.”
